Si Conference: Silicon for the Chemical and Solar Industry XVI – 14 -16 June 2020

At the Si conference, SisAl Pilot’s ambitious objective to demonstrate an innovative industrial process that produces silicon with low environmental impact using secondary aluminium and silica as raw materials, was presented by the project coordinator Gabriella Tranell.
The aim of the Si conference is to discuss new development in Silicon Process Technology, Silicon Quality Assessment and Performance in the Subsequent Chemical Reactions including resource, as well as energy and environmental issues. 95 people from Industry, Research Institutes and Universities worldwide attended the conference online on 14th and 16th June 2020. An article with the title “SisAl – A New Process for Production of Silicon” was published in the conference proceedings.
