Exciting news from the SisAl Pilot project!

The SisAl Pilot consortium experienced a great time in Norway, where lots of things happened and the exciting progress made in the frame of the project were presented to the European Commission.
On May 30th, 2023, our Project Officer Susana XARÁ met Prof. Gabriella Tranell and Maria Wallin, the coordinator from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and the Elkem ASA’s research team to explore the pilot center and witness the cutting-edge structures used in the SisAl Pilot Project.
On May 31st, the project partners gathered to present and discuss all the achievements obtained in the second period of SisAl Pilot.
On June 1st, the consortiums of both SisAl Pilot and SisAl Slag projects organized a visit at Hydro: the largest aluminium producer in Europe, which is located in Sunndal, Norway.
We are very proud of our achievements and of the enthusiasm showed by the European Commission towards our project. We are thrilled continuing persuing our goal towards a more sustainable Europe!
