SisAl Pilot article released in Norwegian newspaper

An article about the SisAl Pilot project was published on the Fedrelandsvennen newspaper today!
The project coordinator from NTNU and the Elkem team were interviewed by a journalist at the Elkem premises while observing the silicon and slag tapping from the furnace during operations of SisAl pilot tests.
The article focused on SisAl as a sustainable process to utilize side streams from the silicon and aluminium industries, without direct CO2 emissions. It also highlighted the EU Horizon programs as a valuable instrument for funding of industrial innovation projects and the 80 years-long Elkem’s history within industrial research was emphasized too.
